VS3111TS IC is a highly accurate temperature sensor integrated circuit designed for monitoring the temperature of silicon chip dies. It features a sensor node that continuously measures both temperature and voltage, communicating this data in real time to a central controller via a digital interface. The IC includes a dedicated enable signal for optimized power management, allowing the sensor to be powered on or off as needed. Its parallel communication interface, using addressable 8-bit digital I/O ports, facilitates access to configuration registers, enabling calibration control and observation of supply voltage and temperature. Furthermore, the IC is equipped with parallel calibration data ports for direct connection to OTP/NVM memory, supporting seamless calibration input. The sensor's trimming options enhance the accuracy of its temperature probes. Built on an ultra-low power delta-sigma modulator, this IC offers exceptional noise performance and high precision, eliminating inherent offset and gain errors by incorporating compensation directly into the modulation loop.
